On June 26 at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, CA, people gathered for a surf contest, product giveaway, and free concert to benefit homeless children. The 6th annual Switchfoot Bro Am featured a surf competition with goofy foot and regular stance.  Some legends, including Timmy Curran and Rob Machado, came out to participate, along with other professional surfers.

Performers Timmy Curran, Dynamite Walls, Jon Foreman and Friends, OK Go, Chris
Shiflett & The Dead Peasants, The Almost, Kate Voegele and Young the
Giant provided music for the event. And of course, host band Switchfoot played a set.
