August 27, 2008 Man, the waves are non exsistent on both sides of the island right now. The Jellyfish came back in full force and were harassing tourists in Waikiki. August 24, 2008 The south swell never really materialized. Some of the more southeast fascing locations in town were getting some three foot waves here and there but there certainly weren't any 4 or 5 foot waves as predicted. July 31, 2008 The surf died out today on both sides of the island. South shore still had a couple waves, but the Northshore was next to nothing after two days of riddable surf. July 07, 2008 Small surf prevails around the island today. The Northshore is pretty much flat and the south shore is about 1.5 to 2 feet on the very occasional sets, but it is simply beautiful here.
