Norwegian FMX phenom Andre Villa had a rough time at the LG World Championships in L.A. a few weeks ago. But, then he was pitted against Nate Adams in a head to head competition right off the bat. Not an easy way to start off the Worlds. And of course Nate spanked him like wee baby, but hey, you gotta give Villa credit. The European scene is still coming into its own. And the fact that he made it into the LG Worlds at all is a credit to his abilities. Afterall, he did place 6th at the Red Bull X read more

The guys hit up some rails on the streets. Max noseslides down a set of stairs on a rail with a huge gap that he transfers over to backside-180-out. He does that again, only with a fronside 180-out. Watch out for the spills that he takes. Yan nosepresses a super-long handrail with frontside 180-out. Hans tailpress a handrail right against a wall then backside 180-out. Nick rocks a backside 180 to a 50-50 then a frontside 180-out.
This section starts out with Thomas explaining why he still wakeskates and why he likes it so much. He starts his riding with a pop-shuvit, a clean 180 and some butterslides. Brian is the next to skate and he lands a clean wake-to-wake Madonna, a couple body varials and a huge backside 360 that he throws off a kicker. Next up is Drew who starts off with some one-wake kickflips. Daniel lands a flat water backside bigspin, and a wake -to-wake kickflip. Aaron takes a different approch and jibs read more
JD, Jeff & Shane have a separate segment than Tino, but don't worry because every one destroys. JD leads this section out with his spins, grabs, glides and inverts. Jeff hits the water after that with his variety of spins: he throws 3s, 5s and a clean 7. Shane takes the handle next, showing us some backside spins, which are insane. Next is Tino who shows us why he's the spin master. He does a variety of different spins like his 3s, 5s and even a clean 7. He makes it all look so good.
In this section Erik takes it big on the double-ups and even wake-to-wake. His first trick was a big off-axis 720 off the double-up that he lands clean. He does a lot more 7s wake-to-wake and each one is smoooooth. He really has a variety of tricks in this segment. He throws everything from backside 180s, to a slob frontflip, to fakies switch/regular, and even a super-clean pete rose.
Martin Sandberg and Bjorn Hartweger shred it out on the slopes together. Watch these guys battle it out throwing frontside and backside 900s. Don't miss a huge backside 180 mute transfer off a kicker and a poked out frontside 720 indy.
Gigi Ruf and Aleksi Vaninnen ride some of the gnarliest back country out there. Gigi drops off ledges and carves his way through the powder down the slopes. Aleksi hits a few kickers, one launches him for a corkscrew 720 and another for a rodeo flip.
Pirate Productions brings you some great film footage of some snowboarders stepping it up. Chris Sorman goes huge in this section all over the back country and the park. Don't miss his huge frontside 360 off of a 2nd story roof. On the rails he busts out a 50-50 to frontside 360 off the rail. Chris takes out all the stops and lands two big air spins, a 1080 and a huge 1260. You don't want to miss out on this section.
