On Thursday July 26 Burton brought athletes and media to Vail for a sneak peek at the new venue for the 2013 US Open of Snowboarding Championships, which will depart Vermont after 30 years. After touring the new venue and facilities there's no doubt the future of the US Open of Snowboarding is in good hands despite the bittersweet reality that Vermont is no longer home to snowboarding's longest running contest.
