Red Bull Ultra Natural - Course Inspection Preview Gallery (w/video)

The Red Bull Ultra Natural waiting period began Friday with the traditional course inspection day. Four cats filled with production staff and competitors left Baldface Lodge early morning and approached the famed scary cherry run where the Red Bull Ultra Natural course lie in wait. BNQT jumped in Cat #1 with the likes of DCP, Nico Muller, Gigi Ruf, Wolle Nyvelt, Lucas Debari and Jake Blauvelt to get a lay of the land and examine the imposing and truly steep and scary Ultra Natural terrain. Taking three runs to left and right of the perfectly untouched competition zone the riders had a chance to scope potential lines, size up features and try to take in the scale of the entire slope. A thick fog didn't really help any but cast a harrowing effect on the entire affair and casting the Scary Cherry course in an appropriately intimidating and eerie light.
