Mammoth Backcountry Mission

With the snow pack getting up to par in the Sierra Nevadas, film crews are starting to venture into the backcountry. Mammoth local and shred photographer, Kevin Westenbarger, caught up with Gabe Taylor, Shayne Pospisil, and Peter Benchetler filming for Mammoth’s new video “Another Day in Paradiseâ€. On this particular day they decided to hike from Mammoth Mountain to a zone that is in the John Muir Wilderness, where snowmobiles are not allowed, to find new lines and unridden jumps.
