Waimea Bay, home to the Eddie Aikau contest wasn't the only Hawaiian wave going off this week. Over on Maui, Jaws lit up as well. Actually named Peahi for "beckon" the break only works on the largest of swells and is a tow-surfers right of passage. Tow-in legends Laird Hamilton, Kai Barger, and Robert Theriot were among the heavy hitters harnessing the heavy sets at Jaws. Bo Bridges photos.
