Hurley's Unveiling of its "Awesome!" Art Exhibit

On Saturday, June 11th - Hurley joined forces with four celebrated artists from the Pacific Northwest - Skinner, Martin Ontiveros, Scrappers, and Bwana who brought an explosion of color to Hurley s )( Space Gallery via the Awesome! exhibit.

For the first time ever Hurley brought this talented quadruplet together which resulted in an exhibit that immersed viewers in a world of neon colored beasts, fishermen, surfers, bats, turtles, bears, waves, wings, totems, walled cities, and one massive volcano. The exhibit featured these striking works as well as interactive elements such as an actively smoking volcano-shaped skate ramp made created from recycled materials which guests used the fullest by skating and sliding down the ramp during the show. The opening exhibit also featured a special set by renowned DJ and artist, DJ Alphabeast (aka: Tim Biskup).

Awesome! artists Martin Ontiveros, Skinner Davis, Justin Scrappers Morrison, and Brandon Bwana Spoons were all in attendance as well as other artist notable C.R. Stecyk III to celebrate the opening with top Hurley executives and artists including Scott Patt (Hurley, VP of Art & Design), Dalek (Hurley, Resident Artist), and Jason Maloney (Hurley, Director of Art).
