Competing in the World Cup is a blast (check out the pics!), and this leg went off in the middle of downtown Singapore under the world’s largest Ferris wheel. Named the Flyer, that’s exactly what we did behind the MasterCraft X-2 – actually the same X-2 that was used in South Africa during the filming of Oakley’s Push Process film. ÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂ
Both Nick Davies and Phil Soven rode really well, as did Dallas Friday, and the U.S. riders dominated the podium. The Waterski and Wakeboard World Cup Series moves on to Putrajaya, Malaysia November 7-9 and Doha, Qatar, November 13-15. I hope my flight upgrade luck rolls on!!
ÂÂÂ
Aside from competition, by far my ideal gig is filming with friends. And the annual classic, one that I can thankfully plan for every year, is MasterCraft’s Rewind series. As always working with Bump Films and Mark Bame is an honor, no exaggeration.ÂÂÂ
ÂÂÂ
This year’s Rewind rider shoot went down at both Rusty’s and Parks’ houses, where Mark shot from the dock and in the tube - and the morning set at Rusty’s went OFF! The afternoon set at Parks’ place was not as sweet, we got smashed by a white squall with 40-mph winds. And in true Parks fashion, he made it work - shredding white caps to sneak in a few rail hits.ÂÂÂ

Here’s a teaser to hold you until the film breaks later this fall…
