For all those East Coast surfers planning to hit the beaches this weekend to catch some epic hurricane swell, you may want consider riding those behemoths from the safety of a fiberglass kayak.

This week kayakers off of Cape Cod claim to have seen a big 'ol Great White shark chasing seals and playfully splashing its monster dorsal amidst a patchy pool of oceanic pinniped blood.

Not since the movie JAWS was filmed at Cape Cod has so much White Pointer hysteria gripped the idyllic shoreline of southern New England.

Hopefully surf enthusiasts on the Cape will avoid any close encounters with serrated triangular teeth and instead will sink their teeth into the white foam balls of barreling beach break now barreling up the coast.
