This week
Manny Mania hosted their international finals in NYC, with Belgium's Youness Amrani coming out on top. Windells hosted their last session, concluding a great summer of shredding. The Supergirl Rail Jam went down in Venice. This week also saw action from the Rip Curl GromSearch in OBX as Cam Richards earned a spot in the finals. Three Gatorade Free Flow stops produced six more finalists, and the Billabong Pro Tahiti kicked off with an lay day and the Red Bull Flugtag took flight in Long Beach.

Youness Amrani shreds the courseManny Mania Finals in NYC
Belgian skater Youness Amrani won the Red Bull Manny Mania World Final in NYC this weekend after going head to head with Spain's Dani Delgado. Skaters from 32 countries competed at Coleman Park in Manhattan as the field whittled down to the final four: Belgium, Spain, America (represented by Bert Wooten) and Australia (Dean Palmer.) Amrani came out victorious in the end, also winning best trick with a manny 5-0 to 360 flip out. After a great day of amateur competition, the Pro Final was unfortunately canceled due to heavy rain. Cam thanks his sponsors.Cam Richards Wins Rip Curl Gromsearch in OBX
Conditions were great last week at Lilian St, Kitty Hawk on North Carolina's Outer Banks for the Rip Curl Gromsearch presented by H20 Overdrive. South Carolina native Cam Richards dominated the 14/u and earned himself a slot at the 14/u National Final. Cam went on to crush the 16/u field and win $200 for the H20 Overdrive Maneuver of the Event. OBX was stop #3 of the GromSearch, with the next event scheduled for New Smyrna, Florida before the finals in Puerto Rico in October. More here.

Session 7 campers headed home from Mt. Hood this week, marking the end of the 2010 Summer Season for Windells. They have seen tons of talent and produced some great video edits this year. Even though the warm weather season is coming to an end, campers and snowboard enthusiasts can look forward to Fall and Winter shredding at Mt. Hood long after camp is over. Billabong Pro Tahiti Kicks Off Today!Billabong Pro Tahiti Kicks Off... With a Lay Day
Teahupoo, Tairapu/Tahiti is not delivering good surf today, so the fifth stop of the 2010 ASP World Tour has been called off for the day. The Billabong Pro Tahiti was supposed to begin today, August 23, and run through September 3. Event organizers will reconvene tomorrow morning at 7 am and hope for an 8 am start, with Damien Hobgood (USA), 31, Kekoa Bacalso (HAW), 25, and Jay Thompson (AUS), 28, comprising the opening heat. Gatorade Free Flow Hits Dayton, St. Louis, and San Diego
The GFF hosted three events across the country this weekend. The last BMX Dirt event of the Free Flow tour went down at the DK Dirt Circuit in Dayton, Ohio. The top three finalists - Alex Landeros, Kyle Biller, and Vinny Mannino - scored spots in the finals from Salt Lake City. At St. Louis' Plan 9, Cory Smith won skate park and Reggie Runion won BMX park. The last stop of the weekend was the Mission Valley YMCA in San Diego, where Kevin Peraza won BMX Park. Team Peepin' it Real soars to victory.Long Beach Hosts Red Bull Flugtag
A record 105,000 people came out to Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, CA to witness the aerial antics of Red Bull Flugtag. 35 teams competed for victory, as determined by celebrity judges including Ryan Sheckler and Cheech Marin. All-female team "Peepin' it Real" scored victory after their Peep-themed aircraft reached 98 feet. The eco-friendly Green Machine Team took second, followed by an oversize Obama head from team Air Force One. Supergirl Jam wraps up.Supergirl Rail Jam Wraps in Venice
The third and final stop of the 4th annual Supergirl Rail Jam tour went down in Venice Beach, CA this weekend. Alexis Sablone won the Skateboard Street competition and Fallon Heffernan won Inline Best Trick with a backboard wall ride to 180. Danyale Patterson took the Snowboard Rail Jam, which saw over 80,000 lbs of imported snow - quite the sight on the beach in sunny Southern California. Results and more info at supergirljam.com
