Haddock's stabbing wound - click to EXPAND.
20-year-old snowboarder Luke Haddock is up on his feet and talking to the local news after being stabbed two weeks ago in Burlington, VT. BNQT's Mary Walsh first reported that Haddock was walking through Burlington's North Willard Street in the early AM hours after the Queen City Session rail jam event, when two assailants jumped, beat, robbed and stabbed him.
Haddock suffered a punctured lung in the incident and spent time in the hospital. Though his recovery is going well he has a nasty scar and deep bruising on his left side.
Haddock was interviewed by Burlington's Chanel 5 news correspondent Jill Glaven today and explains how the wound was close to an artery, which had it been struck, could have killed him.
Last week four suspects, two men and two female associates were arrested by Burlington Police and are currently being held.
Haddock is thankful for all the support he's had from friends and family, but has less than kind words for those who attacked him.
"They made me suffer, so they deserve to suffer..."
