Vans hosted a party at its company headquarters in Cypress last night to celebrate the release of the book Vans: Off the Wall. Written by Vans VP of Marketing, Doug Palladini, the book chronicles the history of Vans with particular focus on the original athletes that made up the Vans skate team and defined a southern California skate ethos, which still serves as the cornerstone for action sport's culture.

They even played host to hundreds of loyal Vans fans. Four bands played (including TSOL), TK Burger & Wahoo's brought the food and West Coast Custom's delivered a tribute mini ramp Van for Vans. Good times were had by all...I especially loved you, Mrs. Ice Cream Mobile.

Inside a skate / bmx session ensued and a gallery showing of famed artists and friends of Vans displayed works in commemoration of Vans storied history.
