Totino's today announced a partnership with Burton Snowboards as a sponsor of the 28th annual US Open Snowboarding Championships, happening March 15-21 in Stratton, VT.
In addition to sponsoring the US Open, Totino's will present Burton's non-profit foundation, Chill, with a $5,000 donation and will also support their annual Pizza Party - an event dedicated to celebrating Chill's underserved youth participants and its mission of changing lives through snowboarding.
"The US Open is a long-standing and incredibly well-regarded snowboarding event. Totino's wants to support snowboarding at its root, and much of the roots of the industry are with Burton and the US Open," said Jay Picconatto, Totino's Marketing Manager. "We're excited to be a part of this year's event, and to work with Burton on this partnership."
As a sponsor of the 2010 Open, Totino's will be sampling hot pizza snacks for event-goers at the Totino's tent located in the sponsor village and will award the highest boosting competitor with a cash prize for the Totino's Highest Air Award, as determined by the Totino's height meter, located on the deck of the halfpipe. Totino's and Burton Global Team rider Mason Aguirre will be signing autographs at the Totino's tent on Saturday, March 20 from 4:00 to 5:00pm.
