The Thrashbike Street Coast Jam went down recently. The event had been hyped for a while and for good reason. Some of the top underground talent from the Northeast showed up to shred the Brooklyn Banks.
As usual New Jersey ripper Adam Hauck shut down the place. Among his bigger moves were a giant wall slap 8 feet over the lip of a quarterpipe and a tailwhip out of an even bigger wallride.
Making the drive down from nightmarishly preppy Cape Cod was a guy named Rocco Quintillani. He rides like a bit of a yahoo (that's a compliment), in one instance throwing a tailwhip and submitting himself to a 10 foot drop to flat ground. Needless to say Rocco took second behind Adam Hauck.
Third place went to Matt White from the UK. These Thrashbike jams have been attracting more and more UK riders with each go-around. Matt surprised the field with some huge moves, including an opposite 180 to flat over the big staircase (see photo above). His performance was so impressive that Black Market owner Carter Holland actually sponsored him on the spot.
All in all Thrashbike honcho Nick Brandreth pulled off another great event. Look for more photos and videos to make their way on here in the coming weeks. Check the Black Market site for a full rundown from Carter Holland.
