The World Snowboarding Championships 2012 is set for Oslo from ttrworldtour on Vimeo.

TTR has officially announced The World Snowboarding Championships in Oslo in 2012 and it's hard not to get really excited for this monumental event when you check out this video of the event venue. The slopestyle course is fantastic--a hip in a slope course? Awesome. For snowboarders, by snowboarders, the way events should be. Slopestyle, halfpipe, and quarterpipe events will be represented. This will be the contest of contests for shredding. If we're lucky, the Olympics will listen to what snowboarders are saying and in the future, we'll see that event morph into something more in tune with what TTR is doing. But, until then, it doesn't even matter, The World Snowboarding Championships are just what snowboarding comps at that level need.
