Check out the new Cobble chair from Gil Le Bon De Lapointe, the designer behind that Skate Study House collab with Sole Tech's Pierre Andres Senizergues. Via L.A. Times: Only in L.A.: Skateboard scraps make a sculptural seat
The $3,500 chair comes from a new Skate Study House line called The Waste Is The Best: 100% Recycled. The collection debuted this month at Colette in Paris and also feaures the Spine Table and Space shelves, all made out of skateboard deck frames, the recycled scraps left over after pressing and cutting decks. Previous pieces for the Skate Study House collection have incorporated skateboard decks, wheels, and other materials.
I like the Space Shelves best, in case anyone wants to drop 3,000 Euro on their favorite skate blogger over on the Colette site.
