It seems a bit weird that it has taken this long to come to pass, but it seems as if Wakeskiing (as opposed to water skiing) is getting a lot of attention lately. Lots of videos have been coming out from various competitions, and ski bloggers everywhere seem to be giving this sport some play. Which is fair enough, I guess. The naturally tendency is, of course, to comapre it to real skiing, which is silly in a sense.

This is a different sport though, and I suppose I might give it a shot if I was cursed with the misfortune of having to grow up in or around Orlando, FL. I will say that there is something really off in a visual sense about skis and shorts. Never cared for it, kind of goofy.
