What do you get when you combine the top riders from the surf, skate and snowboard community? You get the 4th annual Ultimate Boarder Triathlon.

The Ultimate Boarder event will begin April 2nd with snowboard contest in Mammoth Mountain, CA. Following the Mammoth contest, the athletes will put their surf skills to the test April 4-7th with a surf competition at Seaside Reef Cardiff, CA. Wrapping up the event will be the skateboard contest and award ceremony April 9th. The highly anticipated triathlon will announce the winner in Cardiff, CA and judging by last year's Ultimate Boarder event big names will be coming out this April.

An article in Transworld Snowboarding explains, "Past high profile athletes who have competed for the sought-after title of Ultimate Boarder Champion include 2010 co-champions skateboarder Chad Shetler and surfer Mike Morrissey, as well as Tom Curren, Bjorn Leines, Christian Hosoi, Rob Machado, Shayne Pospisil, Todd Richards, Andy Macdonald, Tosh Townend, Aaron Astorga and Steve Caballero. The event has been broadcast or featured on MTV2, FUEL TV, FOX Sports, Comcast SportsNet, ESPN.com, New York Times, Surfing Magazine, Allisports.com and more. Sponsors include SanDisk, Flexfit, Kona Brewing Co. and Mammoth Mountain."
