Given all the streetwear brands based in SoCal I'm perplexed why most of them don't make boardshorts. Shit, even a logo'd up beach towel would be a nice touch. I guess hipsters avoid places that aren't kind to sneakers and selvedge denim.

All cynicism aside I'm pumped to see The Hundreds coming out with a small line of boardies. I've sort of gotten sick of having to choose from the same Quiksilver or Billabong trunks every year. What's nice is that these look dope but clearly aren't made by a surf brand.

Looks like they'll come in a few different colorways. The real standout is the gray pair with The Hundreds signature "JAGS" pattern. No word yet on a release date.
