The Bolt is Back!

Lightning Bolt, the iconic surf apparel brand, threw a toast Tuesday night in trendy Los Feliz, CA. The cause of the occasion? To celebrate the Bolt's long-awaited re-launch on the west coast.

The Lightning Bolt fiesta drew a fashionable crowd who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Then again, how could they not? Not sure about you, but I enjoy washing down gourmet hot dogs with an open bar while listening to live tunes and perusing some fresh threads. The Spring / Summer 2010 collection was showcased along with vintage Lightning Bolt surfboards and posters circa 1971 creating a bona fide Bolt experience.

Originally founded in Hawaii in 1972 by Pipe Master Gerry Lopez and Jack Shipley, Lightning Bolt produces mens and womens apparel with a flair to the past. Surf & 70s aspirations combine to construct the hip line of clothing any soul surfer can relate to.
