The Chill Foundation operates in about a dozen cities all over North America and with donations from Burton and other local companies in each city, they are able to bring the experience of snowboarding to kids who aren't fortunate enough to have the opportunity on their own. At-risk youth, kids who aren't getting everything they need from classroom learning in school, and kids who just haven't ever had the opportunity to ride a chairlift and slide down a trail before, become enthusiastic members of the Chill family--learning, growing, and snowboarding together. If you have ever experienced Chill firsthand, as a volunteer, participant, staff member, or anything else, it's obvious how special Chill is. Chill is of course, a non-profit, and so any and all help that can be donated is graciously appreciated and allows Chill to continue serving communities all over the US and Canada, enriching the lives of kids one by one by helping them link turns. Chill is throwing a fundraiser in Chicago, IL this week, so if you are in the area, check it out, enjoy the all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat menu and have fun, while supporting a very awesome cause.
