I'm sitting in my hotel room in Sun Valley bored out of my flippin' mind. It's snowing just enough to make shooting worthless, but not nearly enough for me to actually enjoy a pow day. 48 Straight pipe practice kicks off at noon, with the finals going on tomorrow. It's snowing everywhere else, though. Alta gets 16 new. Jackson gets 18 yesterday and 8 today. What the fuck? Even Summit County is getting snow. Figures I am not there. The funny part is, I plan to be in Jackson and Utah really soon. Oh well.


So, in my boredom, I have been searching around the wonderful Internet. I found this video of Tanner and CR talking about how Tanner skied pow right before X this winter. I thought it was a wonderful video, especially for the young park rats. What Tanner says about edge control in the pipe is something you don't learn from only riding pipe. Take note, kids. Get out of the park, and learn to ski.
