Last night's pipe competition was one of the greatest contest I've ever seen. The level is so high, it's ridiculous. This discipline progresses so fast. Justin Dorey with 2 doubles in one run... Tanner and Simon supremacy ended even though they both placed respectively first and second. Colby finished third. He was flying in the pipe. Kevin Rolland placed fourth 0.50 points behind Colby. His run was impressive, he landed a double on the first hit but then decided to play it safe with less amplitude than usual. He learned his lesson the hard way.
Let's talk about Justin, you've seen the video I posted of him throwing two doubles during the practice. He went bigger during the finals. He stomped a HUGE double on his first hit then went for an unatural double on Hit 4 but crashed. 
I hope you watched the contest on TV because so many things happenned. Xavier perfect run but lost one ski on the last hit, landed on one foot for a 5th place.
