The perennial arbiter of cool, The New York Times, has a story out about river surfing in Montreal, on the St. Lawrence River, of all places.  The scale of it is all pretty impressive, with two river surfing schools going into business up there since 2003, serving more than 10,000 students in that time.  There is even a Montreal river surf board line.  Hell, there are even websites built up, which you can visit here and here: www.surfmtl.com and www.surfmontreal.com

Hell, they even have video!


Also, there was one more thing I wanted to get in here... what was that?  Oh yeah, bring back the Fucking Expos!
