Phillip Soven was in an intense competition against Rusty Malinoski as they went head-to-head for the season title. Phillip came out on top, claiming his fourth win of the season and first overall tour title. Rusty came in second at the Portland stop and overall and Chad Sharpe placed third. The $10,000 Indmar Award that Phillip won is the largest Pro Wakeboard Tour cash payout in history.

In the Jr. Men's division, Mitch Langfield beat out AJ Racinelli to claim the PWT Portland win, but AJ still won the overall title with Jimmy LaRiche in second place and Ryan Anderson in third.
