Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton
'Soul Surfer' Bethany Hamilton has injured her right arm while on a surf trip in Indonesia. This injury took place June 22 when she wiped out and the fin of her board sliced her bicep, this caused her to get 10 stitches and now is having numbness of her arm. Appointments have been made with her surgeon in Kauai, Hawaii to get hamilton's arm checked and maybe perform surgery due to a nerve that could of been sliced. Bethany Hamilton is an inspiration to many around the world after the shark attack happened in 2003. Hopefully her right arm heals up just fine and will be back in the water soon.
Bethany, you are a hero using your God given talent to encourage all tweens and others with physical challenges through your inspiration. As you and your story go around the world, people everywhere will see hope in action through your tenacious will. Our world needs hope and you bring that as you live your life for who you are.
