Snow Puts Andorra World Cup in Jeopardy

There have been serious concerns about weather and trail conditions this past week. As you can see from the photo above, the mountain is still capped with snow. And while the downhill course itself might be cleared in time for racing, it's anyones guess how spectators and other participants will get around.
Dirt Magazine hit up Nico from Commencal Bikes (based in Andorra) and he said that there is still a lot of snow, but that it's melting quickly and that the track should be clear.
Fraser Britton at Transcend Magazine reported cold and rainy weather this morning, but noted that riders have been making their way up the mountain.
I doubt the event will be canceled but unless a sudden heatwave rolls through it's going ot be a very messy weekend in Andorra. Stay tuned for more.
