The new format consisted of 10 riders split into two heats. They all had five intense filled 30-second runs and the five best skaters from the day went on to the finals of the finals. After more than an hour and a half of non-stop drop ins and a few hard falls in the flat bottom, the last men standing in the finals where 3rd place, Sandro Dias, 2nd place winner, Andy Macdonald and, Bucky Lasek was all smiles as he climbed his way up onto the highest ranked spot in the quest for the Dew Tour Cup.
