You can bake a cake out of dog turds, but it doesn't mean that you should.
Proving that video games and pornography aren't enough to keep young Marco Facciola occupied on Friday nights, a bicycle make of wood proves to be the most attractive thing to a beaver that old Marco has going for him. What will they think of next? Bicycles with no brakes?

As back-asswards as Marco may appear, he still seems to acknowledge the mystery of why fixed gear bikes are cumbersome/dangerous/not fun/stupid/inconvenient/inferior.
"I decided to add a ratcheting system to the bicycle. This would allow me to ride down a hill without having to pedal. If it was a direct-drive bicycle, I would have to pedal at all times."
Yeah, that would be suck to ride a bike like that, right Marco? Almost as bad as riding a wooden bike and having the head tube pop off at any moment.
