As we gear up for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver I thought I'd pass on another little tech-y trick for your enjoyment. Head over to the NBC site and sign up for text updates for all of your favorite events. The site offers a variety of options so you can be sure that you are getting exactly what news you want and nothing more. You can receive text, photo, and/or video alerts for your favorite sports or choose a few of your favorite athletes to follow. Some texts will even let you know when you can watch your favorite events on NBC. Now you just have to wait a few weeks until all those curling and biathalon updates start pouring in.
