Prem Puri with broken board...slightly resembles a
shark bit doesn't it?

I don't want to get to caught up in knowing if it was a shark because I might not want to go out again, Byron Bay surfer answered when talking about his latest surf sesh. I don't blame Prem Puri for not wanting to know what caused his board to break; which suspiciously looks like a shark bite.

Last Thursday, at Australia's Byron Bay Puri noticed a pod of dolphins with their babies taking shelter close to shore. Just as Puri took off on a wave his board struck something causing him to fall. With no rocks around it looks that a shark might be the cause of Puri's broken board.

The large pod of dolphins provides a clue as it if it was a shark It's my understanding that sharks stalk the pods of dolphins hoping to pick up a baby that may happen to stray too far.
