Now a days it seems that every company that has a alloy pedal, also offers a plastic pedal, usually "molded after their alloy counterparts." Sometimes the plastic lightweight version shouldn't be offered due to numerous things already wrong with the alloy pedal such as appearance, function and once again the general appearance of said pedal... (Nostra: Grossest pedal ever made.)

When the original alloy Nostra pedals dropped I was sickened in their absolute awful appearance, they seem to be modeled after some sort of fudge bar or ice cream bar. Maybe Shadow Con snaked the specs on how to make a proper Fudgsicle? Whatever the case, these pedals are available in alloy and plastic and both have the same gross look you've come to love and or hate. I think that if Shadow Conspiracy spent as much time on dialing in their parts as they do with their "sick" packaging designs, that they would be closer to the top with the BMX component game. Luckily, another company already has the title on lockdown.

Now I can't exactly vouch for the quality and function of the pedals, maybe they feel real tits and they're tough as a dick... Bottom line is I can't imagine putting them on without throwing up every time I look at my bike.
