This announcement has been a long time coming. Last year, after Iron Horse decided they would avoid bike shops and go straight to mass market retailers like The Sports Authority team riders have been actively seeking new homes. The first thought on everyone's mind was where Sam Hill might end up...and to that end we still don't have any details (well, none that we can really speak on) but his departure from Iron Horse is now official. An excerpt from Sam's official statement below:

“I want to thank Iron Horse for their support over the past six years, all they have done for me, the friendships that we've built, and all that we've achieved together,” he said. “They believed in me before I had proven myself on the international circuit, and helped me out right from the beginning. They've always delivered the tools I needed to perform at the highest level, including the Sunday Downhill bike that's become an industry benchmark."
