Hot off the presses comes some interesting news from our friends at NSMB. Sam Brown, who you might remember as the creator of the "hamster wheel" from NWD III is no longer with us. In a story that's actually pretty hard to believe Sam got involved in wild stuff before ultimately taking his own life.

Reports are saying that he was set up in a sting by the DEA. According to the article several undercover agents approached Sam proposing that he transport 350 lbs of marijuana from BC over the border to Spokane, Washington.

On the night of the incident Sam stole a helicopter, filled it with the goods, and flew it in adverse weather to Spokane where agents intercepted the drop off, quickly taking him to jail. Shorly thereafter he was found dead in his cell due to an apparent suicide.

Crazy, crazy stuff. Our condolences go out to his friends and family.
