Rob Dyrdek's Skate Plaza Foundation is opening up their first Safe Spot Skate Spot right here in LA later this month. It is located in Lafayette Park, between Silver Lake and Downtown, right on Wilshire Blvd. The 7000 square foot street park has all the features you could hope for, smooth concrete, and no cops to try and boot you. You can be sure that it'll be full to the brim from the day it opens on until the fervor cools down some, but whether you're waiting in line on opening day, or you wait a few months to check it out, it appears it'll definitely be worth the trip.
