What's been referenced as the most historical week in surfing ever, Rip Curl is proud to release "WITNESS", a digital magazine that commemorates the Rip Curl Pro Search in Puerto Rico.

The 6th annual Rip Curl Pro Search was an event that will never be forgotten for many reasons. The world witnessed our sport's greatest ever achieve a feat seemingly impossible. Stephanie Gilmore claimed her 4th consecutive world title, and the islands of Puerto Rico embraced their local hero, Dylan Graves, as he put forth an electrifying performance. The event screeched to a halt when news hit of the passing of 3x World Champ, Andy Irons, as fellow World Tour surfers, grief-stricken, turned to one another for support.

When competition resumed, with heavy hearts, the world's best absolutely destroyed the pumping conditions at Porta del Sol. Ending in emphatic fashion, Kelly Slater not only claimed his 10th ASP World Title, but also grabbed his first Rip Curl Pro Search title in front of 20,000 crazed surf fans.
