Everyone knows that golfing and wake-riding go together like peas and carrots, right? Well Red Bull created a new, unique event combining the two. Back in July, Red Bull held the first ever Winch Masters, consisting of wakeboarders and wakeskaters pulling some sick tricks off of rails in golf ponds before slipping on the proper attire and golfing the hole. The event took place at Deerhurst Golf Course just outside of Toronto, CA. 24 riders showed up, including: Keith Lidberg, Nick Harco, Danny Harf, Stuart Shinn, David Hansen, and Red Bull riders Brian Grubb, Parks Bonifay and JD Webb. The entire course was overwhelmed with insane rail-setups. It was mainly a media event (so I'm sure footage and photos will be available soon), and they provided each rider with a caddy and golf visor, and of course the winner received a coveted Green Jacket. Red Bull described the end of the event as, "riders went home stoked, media went home with loads of amazing content, and golfers just went home confused".
