I just recently got to checkin out the new Primo video, Nice Try. I watched it once and honestly wasn't too into it... Then I watched it a second time and changed my thoughts a bit, here's what I was thinkin...
-Anthony "Boy" Flores: Gangster-ish?, tall tees (Mostly White)
-Josh Stricker: Fast riding with no tricks what so ever. Tables and sidewalk/ street gaps. Washed up. Drug abuse. Who cares?
-John Heaton: All the same tricks and riding you remember from Etnies Forward and Grounded. Meh.
-Tony Neyer: Big, brutal and tech! This is probably my favorite section of the video. Good song too!
-Nate Moroshan: Scenester intro, lame indie song, failed fakie wall at the end of a line that could've been decent. Blew it.
-Lee Dennis: Awesome section. Awesome song. Full speed lines with lots of real good trickery throughout.
-Friends Section: Lots of dudes, some are notable and some are not. Barney Cuiper, Raul Ruiz and Lil' D are worth the watch.
-Brian Foster: Old dude, old song. Smooth and controlled . Crankflips over a small double! Perfect.
-Manuel "E-Man" Cantero: Good song use. Tall tees and Grinds.
-Kurtis Elwell: Smooth Nor Cal butter. Weed gives him super strength.
-Sam Lowe: High Speed, tech and gnarly. Street ape entitlement well deserved. Bangers only.
The crash section lacked but this video is pretty decent. Though, I don't see myself watching it anymore than the 2 times I did, good thing it was borrowed. The overall best part of the Nice Try DVD is the bonus Primo Made in Taiwan video thats included!! I was way more stoked to watch the Primo team from 10 years back, it was so good to see that again. 44t sprockets, Joe Rich with dreads and Robbie Morales when he was 200 lbs less.
Properly raptored. ROFLBBQ!
