A few years ago I went to Hawaii with a bunch of riders on a photo trip and basically it was the perfect balance between work and fun. Snorkeling, skateparks, riding bikes, surfing, sushi - epic. Lots of kids on the island were skateboarding barefoot and this kid was riding barefoot without a care in the world. I remember seeing some photos of pro riders doing lookbacks barefoot, a skater sliding the Staples Center Ledge barefoot and a Orange County bicycle company owner carving a wall ride in sandals. I don't know where I'm going with this. It was a long week.
