This past week, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) held a 21+ night. If you're any sort of snowboarder looking for a good time now that Hood has melted out the camps and subsequent Govy nightlife, or just a nerdy guy or gal who enjoys a good time, this was a night for you. I headed down with High Cascade's Aaron Blatt, YoBeat's Nick Lipton, Portland go-to marketing guy Shaun Daley and one of the best skiers I know, Dan Starr, to meet a bevy of Portland hipsters and shred-enthusiastics who were beating the August heat in the AC-filled museum. We were met with (over-priced) microbrews to double fist, tons of experimental games to interact with and play, a really intense fetus development exhibit, space rocks, dinosaur bones, an interactive "create-a-stream" zone and a science-museum-style dance party. It was a blast. Aaron Blatt brought his camera and snapped a bunch of photos--check them out on his blog. While you're there, take a look at his portfolio--Aaron just updated it and his photos are all time.
