The second floor of a Soho apartment building in NYC is the last place you'd look to find crowds of eager action sports fans and a handful of some of the best snowboarders the world has to offer. However, that was the case for the world premiere of Oakley's latest snowboarding flick, Tracking Eero.

The star of the night, Eero Ettala
Oakley teamed up with Svedka, Pabst and Red Bull to premiere Tracking Eero at the Red Bull Space in New York City Thursday night. The spectacle was nothing short of amazing. Attendees were greeted in Oakley s advertising trailer, where they received a pair of boarding goggles and a quick lesson in eyewear performance that Oakley has to offer. They were then thrust upstairs to a plaid-packed venue where they rubbed shoulders with the slopes elite and shown the film.

Jon Kelly smirks while Eero Ettala parties
Tracking Eero, featuring snowboarder extraordinaire Eero Ettala and a few of his friends, took the audience on a backseat tour of some of the most unique snow-covered terrains in the world. Eero jumped anything he could get his hands on, from rivers to cars to stairs... UP stairs, that is. Eero went global for his flick; locations included Japan, Russia, Eastern Europe and of course, the U.S.

The premiere of Tracking Eero drew a strong crowd of
fans
And the best part was: he took snowboarding off the slopes and into the city. Eero can be seen falling from abandoned warehouses, riding down streets, and creating makeshift halfpipes outside apartment buildings. Tracking Eero strays from the typical and is thus a rewarding experience; one to be watched over and over again.
