New X Games Competition: Real Street Skating

In a brand new event for this year's X Games, twelve skaters shot one-minute videos in the hopes of scoring a gold medal and $50,000. The Real Street event is unique because all entries are submitted before the weekend festivities even begin.

Looks like some stiff competition, so go to ESPN.com, check out all twelve videos, and then vote for the best one from now until Aug. 1. The Fan Favorite will win $2500.
This weekend at the X Games, ESPN will broadcast the twelve clips on TV, and a panel of judges (Pat Duffy, Ed Templeton, Jamie Thomas and Geoff Rowley) will determine the winner of $50,000 and an X-Games 16 medal.
