The intro was based on a mexican wrestling theme that involved all of the riders wearing Luchador masks and getting body slammed by this huge dude. From then on the film proceeded in the same way that all of the other 7 Disorder films do. Loud music, slow motion, and mostly the same riders you saw the year before. To their credit Freeride started using some longer cable cams, new camera angles, and less slow motion. This was definitely a nice touch but not mind blowing by any means.
On the upside Ben Boyko had by far the sickest segment of the whole movie. Huge 360's off massive cliffs and North Shore stunts in addition to a ton of other pretty revolutionary stuff. If you're going to buy this movie know that Boyko's segment is one of the only standouts in the film.
Another great segment was Kirt Voreis. He rides everything. His part opens with this gnarly roof gap/drop and he proceeds to ride just about every time of terrain. From huge urban curved wallrides to throwing 360's on 25-foot doubles in the middle of bombing singletrack hi speed with a backpack on. It's probably one of the best Kirt Voreis segments to date and next to Boyko's is the best in the film.
Lenosky's segment is all in black and white and rounds out the top 3 segments of the film. It opens with him backflipping onto a loading dock and ends with some street/trials insanity. It's really creativily put together, in fact its almost too creative to belong in this film.
Kyle Strait and Cam Zink don't have segments at all. Kyle has a couple shots but Cam is completely absent.
Robbie Bourdon's segment opens with a HUGE flatspin 360. It's absolutely insane until you realize that he doesn't land it. Then he goes for it again and again and again. No dice. He never lands it and the rest of the part is devoted to big mountain crusing.
All in all wait for your friend to buy this and see if it's up your alley. Not a bad film but nothing spectacular.

I always thought NWD films were the best, but haven't seen that many mtb vids. What are some of the best?
