in Atlanta.Get pumped for a new-and-improved Big-Air BMX Triples event. ASA Entertainment and MegaRamp have teamed up in a multi-year contract to bring you the MegaRamp ASA Triples Tour, which kicks off in Sacramento on August 28. Check out all the info below:

LOS ANGELES (July 26, 2010) Leading action sports event producer, ASA Entertainment (ASA), and MegaRamp Events, creators of the world-renowned 90 high ramp used in the Big Air competitions at the X Games, announced today that they have entered a multi-year partnership to produce the MegaRamp ASA Triples tour (Triples). The ASA Big-Air BMX Triples, which was introduced in 2007 as part of the ASA Action Sports World Tour, was developed into a stand-alone tour in 2010. As a result of this partnership, the Triples events moving forward will be rebranded as MegaRamp ASA Triples .

The MegaRamp ASA Triples showcases the industry s top BMX and skateboarding pros competing in a series of unique head-to-head battles while taking on the challenge of the 195-foot long course, consisting of a 25-foot high roll-in ramp, two 25-foot wide jumps and a course-ending 14-foot high quarter-pipe. The competition s head-to-head format stretches the athletic limits of these competitors and showcases the pros innovation and versatility with a bevy of awe-inspiring tricks.

The tour will initially debut with four MegaRamp branded events this fall among the eight Triples contests being produced by ASA in 2010.

September 25 Fort Wayne, IN War Memorial Coliseum

October 9 Kansas City, MO Sprint Center

October 23 State College, PA Bryce Jordan Center

Additional 2010 events are expected to be announced shortly.
