Mcrae Williams takes first and eight grand
With a storm closing in things were not looking good Friday night at Big Bear for Craig Coker's 2011 War of Rails. Come Saturday morning, it was no surprise the event was postponed. However, Sunday morning everyone would agree that the 2 ft of fresh snow was worth the wait!
The gorgeous day began with a 30 minute jam session for the riders allowing them to earn points for every feature of the course. Cutting it down to 12 finalist, riders where then give 45 minutes to accumulate the most points. Park City rider, Mcrae Williams took first with an $8,000 prize. The other two to make podium was Spencer Milbocker in second place followed by Phil Casbon in third.
