Plans have been announced for a Shane McConkey Memorial Service, this Sunday on the Olympic Plaza Sundeck at Squaw at 4:30pm.  A gathering for McConkey's friends will follow at 6:30 at the Olympic Village Lodge.  There is also a site up now at shanemcconkey.org, where you can share your thoughts on the passing of Shane.  His friends and family have, from the looks of the site, gone to extraordinary lengths to accommodate those who wish to attend the service, setting up special hotel rates and so forth, so be sure to check the site if you wish to attend.  A very sad thing this all is...

Totino's Field Notes - Road to the 2010 US Open of Snowboarding. It's been an interesting year for Totino's team riders Danny Davis and Mason Aguirre. After starting strong in the Fall and early season, with great contest results at the Totino's Open in Breckenridge, both riders suffered injuries. Danny is out for the year, but Mason recently came back and plans to throw down at next week's US Open of Snowboarding in Stratton, VT.
