The weather was bad today, between raining and snowing. That's a bummer considering the entire time of the competition it was warm and sunny (mid 30s). The pipe seemed slow during the practice but once they salted it, it looked way better. Mason hasn't won a major event for a while. I am glad he took first place it will give him more confidence. His run was sick: frontside 900 melon, a backside flat spin 540, an air to fakie into a switch backside rodeo 720. He scored 94.50.
Steve Fisher was second at 87.00 and Shaun White was third at 81.75.
