In an article in USA Today it was reported on Thursday that Totino's athlete Mason Aguirre would be making his long awaited return to the competitive stage at the US Open. However despite practicing on Thursday, the Burton rider from Mammoth wasn't feeling up to par and opted out, in order to save his still ailing shoulder. Despite not attempting to send it off the large slopestyle jumps Mason did keep limber by making some sunny laps at Stratton's Sundown area.
