The Sierra temps are still struggling to produce snow, but fortunately my good friend Lonnie Kauk keeps my mind on the rocks and is showing me the ways in climbing, so I have plenty to do until the season hits.

Sven Kueenle is also here visiting from Germany and instantly fell deeply in love with climbing. So, Sven, Lonnie, and I headed out to the Gorge the other day to lap out and try some new climbs. Lonnie put me up on a couple tough 11's and a classic 12c. I unfortunately couldn't make it to the top of the 12, but I'm hoping to very soon... We are headed out bouldering today, so I will post some pics and let you know what Lonnie coaxes us into.
